Bara no yume sounds a lot more like a final song. The two songs are great and it’s impossible to choose. They both fit the theme perfectly. Dream of Roses: the two sing the 2nd songs in their weeks during the 2nd song, irony is amazing. Bara no yume: their actually arguing on who gets the mic which is what happened in the cutscene

There's no point in arguing, I just hope this isn't the last time they updated the mod and that they actually add a new 2nd song. What made dreams of roses special was because of its fast paced rhythm and they utilised Senpai's voice more. In the new version Senpai doesn't sing as much and notes drastically shift between going to the last phase and mid phase. Basically imagine jumping in Roses from the first verse to the spammy part immediately that's what they did hear its just a mishap of the song and nothing flows good. I'd prefer if this song was faster and it utilised Senpai's vocals otherwise deleting Senpai's vocals from this song wouldn't have changed it at all because they're placed there purely because there's a model of Senpai in game and they didn't wanna redo it with Monika being pissed off

Mate I feel like the only one to say this, but I prefer Bara No Yume, by a lot. Dreams of Roses is catchy, yes, but I don’t think it gives off the right vibe. It sounds like they’re singing a duet together, when they’re meant to be proper fighting. Bara No Yume portrays their argument, it has a lot more of a sinister vibe to it, and the way they interrupt each other in the same turn just adds to the vibe. Idk why people are getting so pressed over the new version, because they’re both excellent songs. I feel like Dreams of Roses would be a great song for after Senpai and Monika made up after the events of the mod.

Honestly I like the new one a lot more. It feels more like a story is being told about these two arguing over the mic. The old one was just...slamming two different game songs together with VERY little changes. Which works, but not that well in my opinion. Dreams of Roses is a remix of the original Roses. That’s the whole point of the song. It’s Monika trying to sing her second song while Senpai is trying to sing his. I think I’ll go with… Dreams of roses. cuz it’s good in my opinion. But Bara no yume isn’t 100% bad or 100% good. I’d say 50%. Well 2:29 makes it get 70%. So dreams of roses is better.

@@cerulean8624 Yeah, it has more tension. Which fits Senpai and Monika fighting over the microphone. Lots of people complain that Senpai doesn’t have many turns but it makes sense they’re fighting over the mic. Of course they aren’t gonna let each other have equal turns.

Giving my honest opinions: Bare No Yume isn't bad at all , i love the song and the groove of the music, but I think Dreams of Roses will fit so much better in the Monika Mod, wondering why they changed it to Bara No Yume, LOL, but overall, both songs are very spectacular!
