It could be worse! It really takes about six months to get over spine surgery. Worn out by the end of the days. Stay well .

Wow! A solid drive wheel. Spine surgery, hmmm. I was off a bike for a long time after an unfortunate incident with a car. I am toying with the idea of putting a sidecar on my Royal Enfield Bullet.

+thesunreport yes, but I would never get a new one. I removed the electronics, O2, changed the chip, it is a pure engine easy to work on. No assisted brakes either!

i always liked the design of that K1 though...i'm not sure if that's the right name??...it was that first sport-bike style they made with the wrap around bodywork (late '80s??)...if i was rich and had a bike collection i might include one of those!! ..btw is it ok to ask how Spirit is??

I was looking at this video again because I wanted to see if you were using knobbies. But then I saw the bell. A friend just gave me one and I'm hunting for a place to hang it. Looks like you have a car tire on your drive wheel. Makes sense for a side car bike. I was just wondering about all the dirt you travel in though.

I just drop the pressure to about 20. It grips well. Tube tire which I really like, also tube on the car.

Tube tire, eh? I've never been much a tube tire fellow, but it seems all the dirt bikes have them. My RE has them. There's not as much choice in tube tires, especially narrow tires.

Glad to hear he is still on the Journey of Life, made even more precious by your guiding hand. iirc you came through here(Arlington-Ft. Worth)when I still had my monster pit bull/Mastiff in the early 2000s. He has since gone to the Rainbow Bridge(2006). :( :( But now I have another pit bull and I bought a Sun Atlas Cargo trike to keep him healthy and athletic. Sometimes I wish I had your setup so I can take Diesel on jaunts that you and Spirit do but at my age(72)I think that is out of the question. I was once on a pit bull forum with you but was kicked out for my harsh language toward the "dogmen" who loved nothing better than to talk about how "game" their dogs were and how many bait dogs they chewed up that day. Bastards should all be in prison! Stay well gentlemen! :)

Spirit is doing great at 11 years old. Wish I had his energy. The K1 is a great looking bike but didn't handle well. K12 was my favorite! Mid life crisis! Ducati also... That's when I worked. Have to go unpack a drone now! In You Tube look for "Go Pro Ara and Spirit The sidecar dog". They did a nice job and gave us too many cameras! The drone will make for some great videos.
