I've caught many nice catfish from the bank. And from the boat setting still. You have to trust your depth finder. If there not biting, pull-up and troll. Dave you done the right thing. And started catching fish. Right on!!!!!!!!!. Take care, God Bless.

If you're concerned about line going through the sinker slide and raising your bait too far off the bottom when anchored or spotlocked, you can pinch on a splitshot at the top of the slide. Works for me when I catfish. However, I mostly go after those "dag blasted fish with stripes." Enjoy the videos! Rarely miss one!

Hey Dave what do you think about that meat Hunter ride that you got I have four of them myself and I love them two of them are 14 ft heavy action casting reels I have a Shimano TLD 25 on one and a Penn senator on the other like you are sometimes I am always a bank fisherman I don't have a boat so I have to be a bank fisherman but I'm like you I can cast a country mile

Good morning Catfish Dave, i’m looking to purchase new fishing line I know you did a segment on it on what type of line is used I see the color is orange and I think you said it was 30 pound test I’m looking back and your past videos to try to find that, but I was hoping maybe you could answer my simple question today about what’s the brand of line and the cost? I know you said something about cheap at one time but maybe I shouldn’t be so lazy and just go looking for your video and that myself but but if you can, that would be great give me an answer on that fishing line that you use and where are you got it.
