Always a pleasure to see one of your videos pop up. How did you feel about the image after development? The dof looked okay on KZbin, but I'm sure that's a less than definitive method for determining such things :)

The DOF was acceptable but could have been a tad better. I could have went down to f/64 but didn’t want to introduce that much diffraction. The movements I employed could probably have been better. Part of why I like 8x10 is the challenge. In 4x5 I can be “sloppy” when using movements, but 8x10 requires more precision. Sometimes a subtle change in a movement can make all the difference.

@@CraigSheaks well you're a braver, more patient photographer than I. Medium format is my 'slow' format, and even then I rush through it more than I would like. I should probably try and take a breath before I shoot, literally, and then double check my settings. Keep up the good work!

Nice to see you after a cold, dark winter! An interesting choice of subject. The forms are subtle. What interested you about the scene that convinced you to invest the time and effort to make the exposure?

The combination of the older fence, the car, the older satellite dish in the distant background. Also, to be honest, I just wanted to take a shot of something that day. I had been driving around for quite some time without finding anything.

I would like to have seen the front standard with its tilts to get an idea how much it took.

I should have done that. I will remember to show that next time. The swing and rise were minimal, the tilt was a bit more than I would have expected.
