Old fishermen village and three other great places in Malta 🇲🇹

Recently, we visited Malta for the first time. We had only three full days, so we picked the following locations for our exploration:

It is such a different world comparing to Switzerland - I would miss the mountains 😅

Agree, Sylvia, but mountains were not our reasons for the trip 😂 Their highest hill, called Ta' Dmejrek, has 253 meters elevation! 😀 At least it is on the cliff with the nice view to the sea (de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ta%E2%80%99_Dmejrek). On other hand, they have 300 days a year sunshine, and incredible rich history and beautiful coastline. We had really nice time there, and it was my country #52 visited.... I try to keep my age and number of countries visited in sync 😂

Thank a lot for your kind words! ✨👍🏻 It was our first time in Malta, and even when it was short, we had a very nice time there... We were considering Puglia vs Malta this time, and Malta won. Sicily was also on a short list, but for four days it was too short to make to Lipari islands...

Thanks! 🤩 We were lucky for the weather. After the return, we read that Malta has 300 days of sunshine in a year 😅 As it is a small island with an airport, quite a few areas are no-fly zones, but still, you can find some great places to explore. Thanks a lot, Moritz! ✨ We had just three full days, so we explored only a few places, but really had a good time there. It's like a Mediterranean twist on England! 😀 They speak English, drive on the left, and even have UK electric plugs... And for us, drone enthusiasts, the only downside is that due to the small size of an island, the 5km rule around the airport filters out quite a large part of the island...
