Old Ford 532 baler in action

I decided to take a good look at the Ford baler in action. This was my fathers baler when I was a kid, so there's a special attachment to it. I am slowly getting all the little issues resolved, but it has been working like a champ so far this year. She likes to go soooo slow. But then again she very rarely brakes anything!

When hay is good and dry and not super heavy mine worked great my neighbor passed he had a low hour 315 new Holland I like it much better but the old ford was good great video

Nice old baler... we had one when I was a kid... Grandpa traded it for a 552 Ford round baler because labor was hard to get and he was getting older, and the fire ants got so bad around here it was impossible to stack hay without getting stung up. We had a 5200 row crop like your 7000 when I was younger too... I grew up on that tractor. Finally traded it off on a 5610S back in 97... Later! OL JR :)

Thanks for the video, All the farmers back in the late 60's early 70's in Ohio where I grew up used New Holland super hayliners 68's The knotter looks about the same on this but the action moving the hay from pickup to the compession chute is different. I',m looking for a used baler to do some baling down in Ky on some land I own. How hard is this to work on and get parts for?

these balers made the best shaped bales of any i have ever been around.we even had an old 504 that worked well 4 years

It did not throw them far because the belts were short on a ford thrower.
