Old French Cello For Sale | Linda West Cellos

Probably early 19th Century, this smaller, unlabeled cello reminds us of many French cellos. Its smaller body pattern is reminiscent of many English instruments, so we are not sure of its pedigree. Like many older instruments, this one has a very lush, nicely integrated tone. In spite of its smaller size, volume is not sacrificed as it can hold its own against much bigger instruments. The body is a bit shorter than a normal full size at 29", but the string length is pretty normal at just over 27"
