They really have the tools for it, I feel. A story that at the very least seems to be taking some inspiration from one of HI3's best story arcs as well as Greco-Roman mythology along with sufficient time to avoid cramming in a 4-5 (maybe even 6) patches long story into 3 patches because "tee-hee!" so the expectations are high. I think 3.1 and 3.2 are when we're going to be able to see a glimmer of how things are going to unfold since 3.0 is the one patch that they'll have everything set up to get a strong opening going. It's only after 3.0 that we'll be able to get an idea of what they're cooking.

@@vetreas366 They said the story will be split into 2 parts, so I assume 3.0 - 3.3 will be the first major arc, and the second will be 3.4 - 3.7. This gives us the possibility for a MAJOR tone shift partway through. Imagine Phainon is with us for the first four updates helping us collect the core-flames (one each update), but goes rogue halfway through. 3.4 and 3.5 then become a race to collect them before he does and then 3.6 is the finale and 3.7 is the epilogue. That would be an epic twist (pun intended).

Fun fact - while Penacony lasts for 4 updates, the main story, this new 3.0 place called Amphoreus will last for... A full year. From 3.0 to 3.7. There will be no so called "Filler patches" (Trailblaze continuance patches are not filler since they continue the story of different worlds, but people are dumb)

Yeah 3.0 starts in about a week and a half so i’m super excited! Also they said it’s gonna be twice as long as Penacony so they’re definitely gonna be cooking some crazy twists and turns lol. The Fate collab is gonna be around the midpoint so that should be hype too!

The girl without headband is Hyacine (the one looks like Barbara lying on the tree branch at 8:25), and the girl with headband on the last is Cyrene (shes an expy of Elysia from Honkai Impact 3rd). TMI: this whole Amphoreus thing is like an expy "planet" (?) of Elysian Realm (from HI3). And yes the witch u saw in the earlier vid is her, The Herta.

Yeah that Herta, she's such a... witch! It will never not be funny that her being called The Herta is her just not wanting to get a subtitle because she's appearing in her real form and instead of being called Prime Herta she just added an article in front of her name. I really hope there's a dialogue between her and DHIL regarding that.

You have to remember than hsr is about traveling throught diff planets, so for example Amphoreus(the 3.0 planet)'s religion is special to Amphorius, and that there is currently 3 different explorable planet + a space station around the planet The blue. So not regions(idk if you remembered that but you made it sounds like you were talking of it as regions? Sorry if i just didn't understand), love your vids btw

Fugue means a loss of awareness of one's identity, since she lost her identity when Phantilia/Boss Enemy stole

This story will span 8 updates lasting almost an entire year so they have a LOT of time to make a great story, hopefully the pacing is good and they make the most of that time

The character u said that looks like jade is the actual Herta! (aka The Herta) We first met her in the beginning of the game but in her puppet form. She has over 1000 puppets all over the space station lol she does not gaf about anything there. Also the puppets are what she looked like when she was young. Shes at least 900 years old now.

Very easy to type that idea in a comment, much more difficult for me to spend all the hours recording and editing the crazy amount of content to catch up on when I'm already doing daily videos and a One Piece channel. Solid idea, not really feasible at the moment.

Tingyun died and Fugue is a "revive" Tingyun that brought to life by Ruan Mei(a genius scientist). You should play this game to know more about the character.

@@cynzmia7387 (out of context) but spoilers for Penacony : Don't be relied too much that "playable characters won't died" because Mikhail Char Legwork/"Misha" & Gallagher (disappeared exactly) have already fallen victim to it.

@@Luxius. There be spoilers below! To be fair, neither of them are human so as... memories really, they could be resurrected rather easily. I like both of them, Gallagher more tbh, but I do hope that won't happen and they remain as "gone" moving forward. The one thing that I admire them for doing with Himeko's death in HI3 was keeping it permanent and irreversible when they would've profited quite a bit by returning her to the story after Final Lesson made her more popular. It made the sacrifice mean something within the narrative, even if she did still make the odd appearance to drive Kiana's development further. If it really gets to the point a character needs to die to make a point, it really should be permanent. Tingyun gets a pass since they immediately made it clear that she was very likely still alive as were Firefly and Robin, but Gallagher and Misha's "departures" (since they didn't really "die") were given poignancy that would be reverted if they were brought back and it would definitely suck so hopefully they won't fall down that trap. Not a big fan of character deaths in general myself, but Himeko's is one to really learn from since it gave her character relevance even in death, and created chances for Kiana's character to grow.
