Old Gods of Asgard are Poets of the Fall's alter ego band in Remedy Entertainment's game universe. They feature in the games Alan Wake 1&2 and Control. This song plays during a hectic action sequence in Control, the lyrics are a summary of the plot in the game.

great song to a great video game (Control). Lyrics tell you about the plot of the game in a cryptic way. But if you play it you understand the meaning of most lines. I think it drags on because the song is played during a key moment of the game. A unique battle in a maze that has shifting walls, floors and ceilings. A visual masterpiece underlined with this song. And the song adjusts to your playstyle depending on how agressive you fight and how much time you spend within the maze until you find the exit. But not by simply repeating the song over and over again. Instead in different moments of the fight/maze they "mix" the song. Its difficult to explain for me (english is not my first language). But its cool.. play it if you like video games ;)

Bro please, make a reaction to Ollie T- Livin the Dream. Olli is guitarist from Poets and it's his solo project. Nobody has done a reaction to it yet and the music video is super fun. It's mostly guitars but the vocalist is there as well. ^^
