I guarantee you the surrounding area smells like heaven, there's no greater smell than that of a traditional wood fired bakery.

This bakery looks like it got stuck in time. Nowdays when every job is changing in modernizing which is not always easy I envy with these people that do something that is not changing, and not stressful.

This bakery is a true gem. This is how it should be done, proper bread and pastries done the right way. 🙂 This neighborhood is really lucky to have them.

This video was actually a bit different than the other ones. You know when I watch a lot of the videos of various delicacies all around the world including your own, a lot of them are very unhealthy. High in fact, salt and other unhealthy ingredients. But I must say this bakery video was absolutely outstanding. And I really like the fact that you described the bakery as healthy. Including using whole wheat flour and other flours mixed together which are a lot healthier and contain a lot of high fiber and low glycemic ingredients. I was also very impressed with the nostalgic oven that was used. I haven't seen a wood burning oven in a long time, and the oven was set up in such a way that the bread was baked on the bricks which were heated by the wood burning fire. But using a system like this, you wouldn't get a lot of carcinogens which are common with barbecues and wood burning fires. I'm very fussy at what I eat, but this I would eat! Thank you for producing such an interesting and healthy video.

As a Greek I totally disagree with the throwing of the bread, giving more respect to what goes on your table is a must, as for the bakery, I'm glad they have stayed with the old methods. My mother's oven outside the house in Greece is 180 years old and still working.

The bread is very hot, so that's the easiest way for the baker, to throw it as quickly as possible. Huge respect for keeping that ancient oven and still baking in it. 👍

Come to Turkey and see real food. The origin of Greek food is Turkey.

The origin of "Turkish" food is the thousands of years of Greco-Persian civilizations that ruled Anatolia when nomadic turks were still eating mud pies and r@ping their own camels. Nearly everything you call "turkish cuisine" nowadays is of Byzantine and Persian origin 😂
