I think the Arkenstone is a Silmaril. If nothing else, Tolkien reused the idea of the Arkenstone for the Silmarils because the Hobbit was published first and he didn't "finish" the SIlmarillion until after he died. I mean come on, they're even described near identically.

Hey RuuDdevil you probably already know this but the dwarves catapult (Mangonel) have two fire function scatter shot and heavy shot scatter shot messes up infantry level two workshops heal siege and battle wagons and you will be able to choose between wotr age hero’s and the hobbit hero’s in the future and they will have gimli gloin king Brand and thorin stonehelm so don’t worry it’s all good
