I kind of wish it was an actual earthbound battle and you could keep on attacking until the odometer goes to 0, but that would be harder to make. Though I guess they had to make RHM not miss and put the “rng” out of Henry’s favor so it would actually be a fail every time and make programming it a lot easier.

There is a pokemon battle fail in stealing the diamond right before the Just Plain Epic ending (the one where Henry uses the mushroom) where he summons MissingNo. There is also a smaller reference to pokemon in completing the mission.
