I think whether your hair holds better on first or second day hair definitely depends on hair type. As someone with extremely fine, thin, silky hair that never holds curl and gets oily really easily, my hair holds better if I wash and dry immediately before styling. This is a gorgeous hairstyle!

@@alisoncoles1565 I've started following a KZbin channel called blowout professor. The guy is a hairdresser who talks you through how to care for each hair type and what products work best. His advice has helped me so much . I highly recommend checking it out and specifically searching your hair type on their channel 🥰

Im a fine haired girly too but I’ve found that my hair holds shape on day two if I drench it in dry shampoo before styling…. not great for your hair but it works for me!

I don’t recommend oil before curling as can fry your hair, best thing is to use a hairspray and a brush for flyways. X

If your hair is frizzy I recommend you to blow dry before so you have a smooth base for curling x
