Old HONDA GX35 4 - Stroke Engine Restoration // The Magical Skills Of The Restoration Genius

I had to pull apart my dads Honda GX35 line trimmer engine a bit over 3 years ago because the inlet valve got Carboned up which caused the engine to lose compression & not start while he was using it. I just cleaned up the valves & reused the old piston rings,it really needs New piston rings after 20 years of service but I just did what I did to get it going again. The main reason that it blows a bit of smoke on startup is because it's stored hanging vertically with the engine at the bottom therefore oil made its way past the piston rings. It's still going now but !
