It is amazing how quickly someone's "Castle" disintegrates when confronted with horsepower and hydraulics.

how many of us have dreamed of doing this for a living since we got the first Tonka ? I know operating isn't all fun, by any means, but this job here is like making an eagle.

why two machines on one house? sorry so long to response
@TrailTrackers5 жыл бұрын
@@housekiller3478 : LOL for this late response... But... It's easy to see so I'm wondering if you really are a "house killer" and own a machine. But anyway... 1st: Because they can. 2nd: The smaller machine is parting out the brick, which is usually taken to a different landfill; cheaper to dump that than the general demolition debris.

At first I thought "That doesn't look too bad" .. then you peeled the roof off and I could see how far gone it was.

Hey mate, do you have asbestos problems in any of these old houses, because here in Oz it is a major problem.
@pcno28328 жыл бұрын
+bandit4817 We don't have too many private houses with asbestos-board covering the whole exterior, like the "fibro" houses I hear about over there. The closest thing are asbestos-cement shingles where were used between the 1920s and the 1960s; I believe they need special handling and disposal. But we also had asbestos in floor tiles, joint tape and compound, roofing, pipe insulation, practically everything, but if it's embedded in a solid, no one worries much about it. One more thing we had was vermiculite insulation, which, if it came from a certain mining town in Montana, was known to be contaminated with asbestos. I never worry about the asbestos in my house; I leave it alone and it leaves me alone. But if it ever has to be demolished, it might be a bit of an issue. I used to work in an old theater which was covered with asbestos-board-cobb panels; it took them months to tear it down with guys in space suits walking all over it.

Hey Chris have you ever found anything in those old home's
@wolfiewolfification10 жыл бұрын
Chris, that is a pretty old house you are wrecking. Couldn't you salvage any part of it, or did they just want it all out of there and destroyed. Looks like it's 100 years old or more don't you think, Chris babe?
