Exactly, it's easier to see the black, and you can paint over it fine if your not using shit paint. Outlining in fill color is in case you fuck up and for speed, as long as you cover the whole outline you can initially do it in whatever color you want. I use scrap cans for outlines all the time. It also helps keep track of what line goes where, it can get hard to remember your lines when the fill is done if they are the same color

It would be confusing to do the letters again since it's the same color. So then you just paint the outline again after. It's alright do a fill in the same color as your outline with a throw up cause it's not that complicated, it's just a throwie.

+Geo T Uh no, it's just common sense in the train painting world that if you respect the number tags and shit, they will have less reason to repaint the car and ruin your work. Most train workers are happy to have art to look at, so if they don't HAVE to repaint the car they won't.
