I love the logic behind Miller's character. "See the bigger picture". Those driven by emotion will predictably want to try and save the doctor and the people of Tanoa. Those who can look past emotion, however, and understand that sometimes difficult choices are necessary in order to save *more* lives in the grand scheme of things are often going to be the ones who make the right calls. *SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT* I actively did what I could to avoid missions for The Syndikate, going as far as to even limit the sale of weapons to them over the Black Market. Only completed their first mission to get medical supplies to The Doctor, who needed them for patients. Even then, I only did this because it was the first play through and I didn't think medical would be so easy to get a hold of. After this, 100% of the focus was Miller's objectives. Stepped aside to help out the civies a couple times too in order to ensure their safety. *SPOILER:* It's a shame that The Syndikate got their hands on the civies near the end though. But in line with Miller's thought process, I figured it best not to negotiate with Terrorists, or to give them any bargaining chips- and especially to never give them leverage or control over the civpop by giving them a cure they desperately needed. The results of the Status Quo ending in a nutshell: + Global Condemnation of CSAT for bioweapons (compiled with previous crimes) and realistically heavy sanctions to follow. + A cure to CSAT's bioweapon perfected and produced on a mass scale (potentially billions of lives saved and nullification of the bioweapon). + The beginning of the end of CSAT and an ability to refocus on smaller terror groups (revenge for Syndikate killing civpop). Also- 2:39 *MILLER ACTUALLY RECRUITED KERRY.*

I gunned down Miller, his whole "bigger picture" had already killed too many people, and for what? He promised CSAT would fuck itself after the Tanoan scandal, yet they we're still rampant. And with the Wind dispositive on his hands and already demonstrating nefarious intentions, who is gonna stop him? As Santiago has no longer ties with the NATO unlike Kerry and the others, i used this chance to make the things right, both the CSAT and NATO are a danger for the world security with people like Miller on it

@@Fulcrox So... wait... if you gun down Miller and his team- then give the cure to the island population... wouldn't that just be a bandaid fix for the locals on Tanoa while CSAT makes a better version and NATO has no cure? Ah okay I just looked at the other two endings. **Spoilers** The "Man of The People" ending is a decent ending, but CSAT is able to continue plaguing the world with their bioweapons program. Otherwise very similar to the "Status Quo" ending. The "Devil's Due" ending is the 'evil' ending, because CSAT is able to continue plaguing the world with their bioweapons program, and the cure is lost and forgotten. If you go with the "Status Quo" ending, you lose the Doctor and Civilians to The Syndikat, but you're able to both create a cure and presumably expose CSAT's bioweapons program.

For me, the ending where the Old Man handed over the sample cure is the most canon of all endings.

There are 3 different endings of this scenario and I'm getting gray hair trying to make all 3.. but for now, I can't ... the scenario is bugged and won't trigger ending with the doctor or syndicat. (ill do that when its fixed) But I have a few more stuff to show you about this scenario so stay tuned! Peace! shhh... but there is a cursed place! easter egg I think! and we can find Samjo in his house and kill him.

I see how you accomplished it now. I did a different way and was blessed with a bug. I took out a Kajman holding Viper operatives and stole their gear and used it to infiltrate the island. Luckily, when I went to the town of Tuvanaka, I came across operatives who didnt have their nods on (even when they have VIPER helmets with them.) Snuck past them, infiltrated the minefield and made my way to the dome. When I was outside of the entire compound, the dome seemed to explode prematurely. Maybe vehicles collided and everything went boom? Anyway, I got the call from Keystone and was like "Fuck it, I'll take what I can get!" Made my way to one of those infantry transport csat jets and bugged out of there before almost being shot down. Crazy fucked up shit man.

I hope someone can make a mod, After East Wind and Apex, a mission-based on an invasion of Tehran by NATO forces, forcing Iran to exit CSAT. Also, CTRG infiltrates Shanghai., and China just got into a massive civil war.

So I know this is pretty old already but I gotta say something funny that happened to me as I was getting the ending text. I had a "Support Attack" pending and as the ending text was going by I hear Samjo saying "We will attack in 5 minutes" xDDD

Managed to get it to this ending also. Had some issues with it though. The worst of them being some items not loading in properly when entering an area, so every time I got too close to a piece of furniture like a table, chair or whatever, I just fell through the ground, dying instantly. Had to restart with the option to save progress manually, so I didn't have to travel all the way to the objectives. Another cool possible Easter egg they could have added in Santiagos house would be the green beret or képi blanc the Legion uses, since that would have been relevant to the character. Either way, I doubt I'll be trying out the other endings tho.

yea, for now, I can't manage to finish with the doctor or syndicat but I saw BI released a hotfix so I will give it a try once more all over again just to see those two endings. I hope ill make it! idk. and yea that green beret would be cool easter egg
