That whole moment with Rob getting hyped about Old Man Logan killing the Hulk family is still one of the best CE moments for me.
@InstantSilence7 жыл бұрын
A small but important detail you didn't mention was that he actually couldn't change past events. He could change tiny details, like who he talks to and what he says, but every major action in his past was set in stone. He tried to chase after Jean but his body wouldn't move, and when he was confronted by the Hulk gang, he wanted to act but he still got beat up. It was then that he realized that his past is his past, and rather than watching his family die a second time, he decided to have a proper goodbye.
@michaelandable7 жыл бұрын
yeah but what about Banner Jr. people!?!?
@brooklynanon21417 жыл бұрын
One thing that I didn't get was, if it was all of his past - how did the interaction with Iceman help with his rescue? If it was his own past, then he was talking to the Iceman of old man logan-verse and not the ANAD version. Unless in that one instance, he crossed over to the other iteration's wolverine. I haven't read it, maybe I missed it completely...
@RozzCraft7 жыл бұрын
All timelines are the same until they diverge. ANAD and Old Man diverge on the night Logan kills the X-Men. He altered both paths by talking to Bobby before the night the heroes died.

Being honest. You're my source of comic book info. I can't for life of imagine trying to actually read through the literally hundreds of different issues and stories at this point in my life. So these videos that you do provide a ton of entertainment value by being able to indirectly learn about of these various arcs and stories. That being said, one of the things that keeps me coming back, your genuine love of comics. I don't see alot people get genuinely excited about hings anymore what with everyone having everything at their fingertips. Your little excitement about Logan's slaughter of the Banner family is one of the many moments where I've seen your love for the platform really shine. That's what I like about you. You still find a ton of enjoyment in the medium. In my own community, that being anime, I see people kinda just settle into this... Rut? Where they'll watch things and like them, and discuss them but have kinda become desensitised to the medium. I was one of those people until recently. I watched one of the long anime from a genre known as "Shounen" that kinda re-ignited my love for anime. I was actually getting excited about the things happening in the story, getting sad or angry when bad things happened, andjust generally having a good time. I'll tell you what. These videos bring me more enjoyment than alot of things these days. So, thank you... Really, thank you. =)

My problem with the admantium poisoning concept is that wolverines real power, besides his healing factor, is adaptability. Technically his physiology with have adapted the admantium as part of him, which is why when even one drop of blood of him is left, he can reform back to himself, including the admantium which is essentially become his skeleton. It's the same as him processing poison out of his system. The admantium poisoning NEVER made sense.
@r_o_y34197 жыл бұрын
Neon P Lotus He's never been shown coming back from one drip of blood except from the time in civil war where it showed him coming back from a skeleton.

Roy Latham Wrong Phoenix saga, I believe A drop of his blood landed on the dream crystal, and BAM! Another wolverine, dame as the old wolverine.
@iamcage1876 жыл бұрын
Neon P Lotus pretty sure that was because of the crystal, Not him. He can't reform his adamantium, that why it never grew back after Magneto ripped it out, it had to be put back into him by outside forces.
@antwan13576 жыл бұрын
Actually using that line of logic would suggest that wolverines healing factor would break down the adamantium and purge it eventually from his body.
@refusetolose056 жыл бұрын
Its actually genetics. Your DNA over time loses its telomeres length, causing aging. After 150+ years he is only reproducing DNA that has errors, which is why the adamantium that was always poisoning him is now killing him.

Hats off to Lemire, honestly and dearly. Such an amazing writer who found brilliant and introspective ways to end both Moon Knight and Old Man Logan, two phenomenal comics, with a note of finality, but an air of anticipation for whats next. He closed the chapter but left the path so naturally open for the next writer. I can only hope the new Old Man Logan writer is doing their best to live up to his amazing run, and Im already sensing my impatience for a new Moon Knight comic. Thank you Jeff.

I feel the real question is actually will they ever make old man Logan young again. This was a great revitalization of the character after quite a bit of over exposure for a good two decades, but it is Logan and he is the True Wolverine. No matter how you feel about X-23 taking up the mantle, its always going to be Logans. They did this with Capt America so could be it happens with our lovable ole Wolvie....eventually ;)

I've been wondering why neither of Old Man Logan's Kids have a healing factor. All his previous kids have claws and a healing factor, why did those kids get left out?
@niallreid76647 жыл бұрын
Because mutants died out. It comes up in the comic when Wolverine was talking to Emma Frost. There hasn’t been a new mutant born in decades, and Logan’s kids therefore would have been born without the X gene.
