Old meta is deadly while new meta is slightly better in general (old meta is hard to land and instinct trickable but does huge damage, while new meta is now hardly instinct trickable, does op-decent damage and easy to land), the cdk and godhuman combo became more like saber v2 and ice build rather than most no skill build now

Old meta, whether it was spam or skill, is so fun cause there was more skilled than no skill and even no skill builds werent as bad, unlike nowadays where an angel v4 portal can just win without using his brain

So basically the part where the guy wasn't sent away from you move is what I like to call, counter combos. there are certain abilites that have weird frames that allow them to not get sent away or take damage but still hit you so you can still combo.

Most people kentrick at cdk z or x so a different combo for the old meta is cdk z godhuman x cdk x godhuma z c (combo is still kentrickable but you would most likely break their ken or get more damage if they kentrick at godhuman z)

Redyvex you should try and get strong grip at least on your guns I rolled till I had blessing on everything but guns I stopped when I had strong grip, m1 SG with their haki on, I hit 72 Z move I hit 922-1100 X move 2300 So long as melee stats are maxed
