OLD NAVY EXTENDS SIZING IN STORE! | FITTING ROOM HAUL | Taren Denise

Hey y’all! Old Navy recently accounted they were carrying sizes 00-28/30 and up to a 4X in store. I read some conflicting reports on if a size 30 would be carried in store. So I wanted to see if my local store had stocked up! I found up to a size 28/4X in store and was able to try on a bunch of super cute things. Hope you enjoy this one :)

I ended up buying the denim jacket, black crop active tee and leopard print top, along with a pair of gold earrings (linked above) I snagged near the checkout counter. While pulling links for y’all, I got a few more active crop tops and the camo shorts in a size up.

Sorry going nuts with the comments here but I LOVE that you just get the size that works for you based on the look you’re going for and the fit and don’t get all caught up in being concerned about the size on the tag. At the end of the day no one knows but you and then you get the look, fit, feel that you want!

I saw your video this morning and I had to run to my local old navy this afternoon. It felt so good to be able to shop all around the store instead of being confined to the back corner of the store with slim to no options to pick from.I was able to find my size in pretty much everything( size 20/22).Old navy definitely has a new customer.

You have no idea how exciting this is! To be able to try on clothes before buying them saves so much time. Plus your competitors are that have plus size clothes in their store are so expensive so this is a huge deal to me!

I am so excited they finally did this! I was in an Old Navy on Saturday, 8/28. I knew that they had remodeled the website and no longer had a separate section online for plus. It's been integrated into just one women's section online. I did not know they had done the same in store! I was thrilled to discover that in person. I can wear XXL thru a 4X depending what the item, cut, and fit is. Old Navy has been one of my most favorite stores for many years so I'm just beyond happy with this change! Hoorah! Now I will shop at Old Navy! I like Macy's plus sized clothes but they are pricy for everyday casual stuff. Can't understand why Plus clothing is either online only, shoved together at the back of the store or hidden behind the lawnmowers. Thumbs up to Old Navy.

I have the denim jacket in the black distressed. It is my favorite piece. I generally buy their large because Old Navy runs big but bought the jacket in an XL. I wanted a slightly oversized fit. The cut of that jacket is flattering to many styles and outfits.

I love Old Navy clothes! I'm about a 1x in tops and a 2-3x in bottoms. I purchased their linens shorts (in almost every color available) for this summer. I've never tried the Jean's though. I think those black straight leg jeans would look good with a Chelsea boot. Love the tiered dress but I would love to see it in a neutral color. The jogger outfit, love! Also, pretty nice that they include plus sizes mixed in with straight sizes! I'm 45 and know all too well how crappy it feels to be excluded from what is considered to be normal. I used to feel miserable when walking by stores with cute clothing, knowing they have nothing in my size. It's come a long way!

For about 2 years Meijer (a Midwest version of Walmart) has had sizes xs-3x in most, if not all styles, on the same rack. I really like the concept and am glad Old Navy is going that way.

Thank you for always being so thorough! My Old Navy had the true plus size section. I quit going because everything I liked was straight size. Plus was very small selection and not much I liked. Did get a dark denim jacket for $5 a couple of years ago that I still love. Excited for the new sizing and more to choose from. I think I’ll go in store tomorrow! Thanks!

If you go back, I’d love to see you compare the size of XXL vs 2X on a few things! I’m usually a 2X at most places but Old Navy typically runs a little large so I can get XXL and sometimes XL there so I’m curious to see how 2X compares.

As an Old Navy employee and customer. I prefer the XXL fit. The 2x feels smaller to me. If you do go shopping fill out the survey on your receipt they want feedback to help improve the sizing further.

The 2x is probably going to feel a bit smaller because it's made to fit a curvy body compared to the straight size of the xxl

I love that the stores are uping their plus size style up. At 1 time plus clothes always looked like a ugly table cloth or grandma ish looking for us plus size folks. Kudos to that for sure.

I'd wear the heck out of that tan dress! I heard their sizing online goes to 30 but in store to 28 which seems odd to me. ON is doing better which is great, I still say they could branch out into a whole plus size store/line/website and make a killing. Plus size girls got money to spend y'all and not just at Torrid! Just shopped there after two years and had always bought xxl joggers…yesterday they had them all together and at the checkout I complimented them, there were plenty of plus size ladies there and we were all grinning!!

I think they are still getting fall/winter stuff in. I can't wait! I'm so excited. I've found it's helpful to look at jean fabrics. I can wear my regular size with 2% stretch, but need to size up for 1% or 100% cotton. But overall, I need to try on 2 sizes in about everything. They just aren't that constant. I suspect even same style/same size a variance to where one will fit and the next won't. But now I can find out for sure - whoohoo!!! (Check out their active wear). As someone else said, now there's an in store, plus size shopping option if we ever need something last minute.

This is sooooo exciting. So many cute items. Love the smocked jumper. I need to check it out. I am not doing much shopping in stores right now. We've had a huge surge in people getting the Delta Variant. Anyway, great purchases. I got one of their jean jackets last fall when it went on sale for $15. Yes $15. Keep an eye out when they run it again. Get a diff style.
