This was a real treat to watch 😁 I played about ~150 weddings since 1973 and this was spot on. Even in Germany they ask for other songs like "Jalousie" tango etc. Btw. Mick: I answered the question for the worst gig "Playing on the wrong wedding" and yes there were 2 guesthouses in the village, both had a wedding. We stopped at the first pub we saw and ask if there is a weeding...and yes it was. So we set our stuff up, got dinner and drinks and started to play quietly during dinner time. The brides father thought the grooms father has booked us and vice versa 🤣 So it went on with dance till about 11 pm they realized nobody booked a live band. So belive it or not, we went to the "real" wedding and talked to them, they were upset first but we straightened it out, packed our stuff and played till 6am for free at the correct place.

Dan! I absolutely LOVE my G&L ASAT Special! Great choice. Running the volume and tone knobs at about 50 to 70 percent sounds like heaven, then you roll it full wide open to giv'er hell. Pristine cleans, and a growl to die for. Seriously under rated guitars/pickups (the jumbo single-coil Magnetic Field Design pickups).

Mick and Dan, another informative show in your volumes of cool shows. I wonder how possible it would be to create a show that contains only pedals and settings that have been used in well known music and/or bands. Something that directly ties a lot of the modulating type of Pedals with something tangible to relate them to. Not so much the OD or distortion type of pedals. The fuzz stuff have been covered by everyone and their Mother's. An easy example would be the Talk Box and the Peter Frampton's "Do You Feel" relationship. We all can easily see and hear it used. There are a gazillion modulation pedals to fill up a show. I'm thinking, copyright strikes may be an issue preventing a neat show like that huh? Just a thought...

That was fun - great to see the G&L ASAT get a showing (i’m biased as i own a few G&Ls - but they really are great guitars) Overall quite hard to pick a winner, but i know that if you combined both rigs - guitars, effect and amps (in TPS wet/dry) the brides father would be loving it ! On another note the S-type with dual humbuckers - very nice. *final note - i swear when Dan went flat peak, i thought Tim Pierce’s better looking brother had joined the show ;-) **ok final note really this time - the Fez of truth is now a thing !

I know the feeling ... particularly when you have half a dozen drive stages and three fantastic reverbs that all do something special (and different from each other) ... it's *so* tempting to say "put them all on, and I'll use a switcher" or even "put them all on, and I'll only switch on the one I want" ... and then end up with a pedal board the size of a front door!

I love the chalenges. Reminds me of the good ol' Top Gear days. Possible challenge idea: The Foodie Challenge. 3 pedals named after food, to play 3 songs about food or has a food item in the title, by bands that have a food item in their name. Bonus points if you use an amp that has some form of food in its name as well.
