A warrior of rising fame makes the trek into the desert to find shelter. The gods were kind to him, for they guided him here - to the City of Cities, that Great Jewel amidst the vast, primitive sea of sand - the kingdom of Halcyon. But for all the wonders of that land, there is something darker there, waiting for him. Horrors of the most profane kind. His soul will be placed on trial, and he will see the suffering of hell with his own eyes.
