Old Panasonic Camcorder Model NV-GS200 Made In Japan - Using Mini DV Cassette

I found my grandma's Panasonic camcorder, bought in Japan around 2005. Still working tho, except the LCD and EVF - maybe mold or something. Can read, record videos, capture images with an SD card and a Mini DV (DVC - Digital Video Cassette)

no, it only allows for photos on an sd card.

does your tapes sometimes not work- glitch and then work for a second then the screen goes black? This issues keeps happening to mine?

I only have that issue when I use old tapes. I don't have any problems with the new tapes that you haven't opened the plastic cover. I think it's because of the dust, moisture and when the tapes are moldy. My old tapes are also moldy and it will glitch most of the time. You can try to rewind or fast forward and if you're lucky, the camcorder can read it.

I think you can find them online or search in your local AV stores. My cassettes were bought from years ago so I'm not sure about it.

From the manual, it said it only support up to 16GB. My card is 2GB.

i have this camera and the battery but not the charger, can i charge this camera by plugging it in? or does the batter have to be charged by removing it from the camera and charging it on a separate charging block thing?
