Long ago on visits to my grandad and auntie Nell in a tenement on new street I always remember getting the bread and milk from Hannah’s dairy, the lady used to say “ your Jonny’s we-ins But I can’t remember where the shop was as I’ve lived in England for so long now Fisherrow seems a far off bit of the past. One thing I remember as well was Luca’s ice cream, nice to remember the past.
