Old Photos From The Salsk Steppe

In 1836 the Salsk steppe was made part of the Don Host, now the Rostov Oblast. This is where the Don Kalmyks/Buzava lands were until WWII when the Buzava were deported to Siberia with the rest of the Kalmyks.
