Most of the buildings are still there..Ethyl corporate building stands where Pratts castle was...sadly, in 2020-21 there have been removals..

my hometown. although i now reside in the state of florida, seeing these photos puts an ache in my heart. richmond has changed too much now but history never will!

Many of the buildings in RVA still stand,with the Jefferson Hotel being the best looking currently. The difference between Richmond then,and RVA now,is what I would call "divine progress "!!!

🚲 truly fantastic architecture. Can't imagine razing any of them. But shouldn't the Capitol building be first properly vandalized and then torn down by an uneducated gang of protesters since it served the Confederacy ?🏛

Mike...That is a very good point. And every battlefield should be bulldozed too..!! Yea, it's insane, isn't it. It has been proven that Marxist organizations are well funded and supplied and trained and it's them...primarily...that have started the riots and destruction. But...BLM is also just a front for Marxism. Their website ( unless it has been scrubbed recently ) calls for the destruction of America.
