Our family made San Diego home in 1919. My grandmother was born in Nasty City in 1924 and my great grandmother worked at the old tuna factory.

Sad how auto companies bought out the rail system. Would be nice not having to drive just to get around town or wait for a bus or trolley.

The climate of san Diego is perfect for buildings. In the portland area. Buildings built even 5 years ago look much older cause it rains almost non stop 6 months of the year

I live above Mission Valley in University Heights, and the reason I moved here was due to the historic neighborhood, which dates from 1888! My apt. building (a converted house), was built in 1910 (2 years before the Titanic sank!). This neighborhood features Trolley Barn Park, former location of the Trolley Car Barn. Lots of Craftsman and Spanish bungalows, line the streets. Come check us out... look for the large Trolley Car sign over Park Blvd. 🤗
