I think as long as robdev preserves the old fast paced casual feel of pg3d (not alllowing weapon spaming), this port would be a sucess. Maybe after the initial launch we could see some of the features promissed by the original developers like missions and campagin be introduced.

cat spamming is what made 1v1s fun and smooth back then, it was the balancing issue with the weapons that made it repetitive because everyone used the same guns back then.

You need to tag @Active in #matchmaking tab in discord. Also there will be events in the future. It's rare when you can just join and find someone, although I found a player at hospital map accidentally.

im an old player looking to recover my game data from 2014-2015, it was saved by google play but pixel gun doesnt sync the data, is hope lost?

Unfortunately if you didn't log in before 2019 your data is completely lost because the developers reworked the games architecture. Meaning it's now completely online. If you didn't log in before they did this in 2019 you'll need to start over. If you have proof it's possible you could try contacting support and see if they can do anything for you, but just assume they can't help you.
