New distilleries often do not do very well for their first attempts. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes and as they switch from imported juice to their own still it gets better.

I've been scared to buy any of KO Distilling's new stuff since it has their stuff in the bottle now and not MGP. I will say James E Pepper has gotten it right! As well as a few others. 🥃

I heard Augusta sources from Bardstown, KY. Not sure which distillery. I also have an Augusta Buckner’s 10 Year Bourbon. They have some of these Old Route 8 left at Batesville Liquor in Batesville, IN. 🥃

I’m interested more so in the ten year that is 140. Is it pricey yes but worth a try once. Where do they get their juice not sure but it’s a different brand. Great review and I appreciate your honesty.🥃🥃🥃
