This may be my all-time favorite doing your makeup video. Perfection! And I love it when you have those one-on-one conversations in your videos while doing something else (like makeup). Thank you for this video. It gives me hope that all will be ok. I had to walk away from a very intense relationship earlier this year so still in the throes of grief and it feels like there’s no end in sight. It was very comforting hearing you talk about your experience and how you’ve come through it. Felt like I was being taken care of by an old friend. I appreciate you so much. ❤️‍🩹

I'm so sorry that you know the pain of this! I cried everyday for four months. The pain was so intense that I felt like I was never going to experience happiness again without it being marred by my grief in some way. Even though I knew it was for the best (my relationship had gotten unhealthy and unfair), it was still earth shattering, I'm a year and a half out now, and the breakup was a blessing. I can't tell you how grateful I am that it happened. Even with all that pain that I suffered through--the confusion, the anguish, the anger--I would live it all over again if it meant being exactly where I am right now. It's going to be the same way for you. It happens slowly, but it will happen, and you will be better for it! I'm so proud of you for walking away! There's an end it sight, and it gives way to the brightest future. And I can't wait to hear all about it when you get there!

Taking it one day at a time and focussing on small victories and simple pleasures.
