This for me is what makes ren stand out head and shoulders above others, his genre range is incredible, his lyrics are off the charts and his voice can bend and twist to fit anything. Such a talented dude. It's not all my cuppa but you have to admit the guy is diamond in the rough, a pearl in a muddy ocean, a star in the darkest voids of the galaxy. I love his story telling in his songs.

I still prefer the fandom being called "The RENaissance", because Ren is a true Renaissance Man, which, by definition, is a well-rounded individual, gifted and skilled in many different areas. A Renaissance Man in the fifteenth or sixteenth century would be an intellectual philosopher, studying a wide variety of subjects.

His art goes against all the main stream BS, breaking all the "norms" and "rules" in the biz. He combines and fuses multiple genres and refuses to conform to traditional structures of song composition. It's like Ren is saying, "to hell with hooks, bridges and chorus placements, I'm going to write songs my way & you're going to love it!. Guess what? We all do!!!! 🤪 We step up and say MORE PLEASE😁🤩

Wasn't comparing I was acknowledging the fact he was paying homage to different people and groups by using either their flow or a type of beat they would be on. What did I say that made you feel like I was comparing Ren to Beastie Boys? Clearly he was paying his respects to them. You can tell REN grew up listening to ALOT of different people and you can tell Beastie Boys are one of them.....
