To me, this have a something of a Brazilian bossa nova sound, especially at the beginning, pretty cool. I'll bet he'd do an interesting cover of "The Girl From Ipanema." Looking forward to more Nightwish reactions. I only discovered then a few months ago from other reactions (being an American and having never heard of them before), and now I'm a little obsessed. I'm an old school guy myself (61), so I love Rush, Led Zeppelin, Boston, etc. and am a HUGE Yes fan (my personal fave prog rock band, especially their early work, no slight to Rush). Believe me, everything the Army has said about the band's versatility is true. Sounds like you've decided on High Hopes next, which is a great choice to hear Marco, who is a great singer in his own right--and I LOVE Floor! Probably Romanticide would be a good suggestion after that to get a feel for their rock/metal side. But whatever you decide, you can't go wrong with this band.

I am a huge Yes fan as well. One I keep forgetting to mention is Supertramp. They also have filled my ears with joy over the years. P.S. yes, High Hopes will probably be next.

Alright, cheers chap I just fell over this video by a coincidence. And idk y, maybe it's nostalgia, maybe it's a sign of the times, but seeing you vibe to a song by an arist that I love and that helped define my past couple of years, mwah. It brought tears to my eyes. It truly was just sort of special to see some unexpected positivity in times of, well yeah, these times

Samantha Fish "Bulletproof". Samantha Fish has this great bluesy and soulful voice and her guitar skills are amazing as well. She uses some old school guitar techniques that very few modern guitarists don't do anymore. Playing with a guitar pick and fingerpicking at the same time seems to be a lost art and playing with a steel slide on the fretboard is done by very few guitarists in the last 2 decades.

Hey Kerrymac just found your channel , already like it new subscriber . I am old school as well being 64 and from one old school to another I would like to see you react to a band from Japan called Asterism/ Rising Moon. if you like Rush you will love these guys they are amazing for a three piece band. Bootsy Collens of George Clintons band Parliament discovered them and signed them on the spot . Really need to check them out the lead guitarist can hold her own with any body out there. Thanks
