This is the pure essence of 'don't judge a book by its cover'. The pages in this dudes story runs deep and his ability to communicate his experiences are well beyond what most humans can verbally contextualize. I don't have any tattoos, but I'm now a fan!

This young man is articulate and very well spoken. I could not stop listening to him tell his story. Also in my opinion, he told many of our stories , (as far as our culture goes. ) Growing up in the early 60’s , when we entered public school, it always felt like we were expected to make a choice on how to identify ourselves We were only allowed to check one box- I always checked two American and Hispanic😂I have always stood my ground, I was proud to be both. Chuco has a very rare gift - he is an old soul and is very passionate about what he believes in. One thing for sure is he is on a completely different level. I’m definitely sharing this video and buying his book. Thank you for sharing his story- much respect.

I myself am a multigenerational proud Chicano. I always say, my family didn’t cross the border, the border crossed us. We’ve lived the Culture from its Origins & contributed to this country in every way imaginable as Americans, but our Culture always came first. Was never easy, because to outsiders we’ll never properly be understood from how we dress, talk, LOWRIDE & the list goes on, but we embrace the opportunity to educate people. I loved this interview!✊🏼

Obiosly not a norteño if he was a oldschool norteño he would have a mongolian stile hair .
@profe_stiloАй бұрын
@@geesup5214 and @letshavecoffee Lol not all OG norteños wear mongolians. He's from norte Califas, but that doesn't necessarily made him a norteño (in the gang sense). Either way, he's pushing Chicanismo and speaking on our culture as a whole, so what difference does it make?
