Anybody know what they used for gears on the mile?

Still makes me mad they tore this place down. I won’t ever support the businesses that moved into the area.

This was back when you could somewhat identify the model of the car. Today’s mods are just a bunch of sheet metal put together.

#12A jumping Jack Johnson the first NY to win at the Moody Mile simply one of the best to strap into a modified I grew up watching him win at the track of champions, a great and humble man too really miss him not being on the track...

Before This track got torn down i always thought that this was the dirt car version of the indy 500

It practically is. It's the DIRT equivalent to the Daytona 500 and Indianapolis 500

Big mistake when the Moody mile was torn down. Always huge crowds, best racing anywhere and where modifieds were modifieds; gremlins, corvettes, pintos, coupes, actual car bodies made them unique and distinguishable. Sorely missed
