Lots of very creative links by the banjo player. His playing is very reminiscent of Eddie Adcock and sounds like his old Recording B model Epiphone. I think the tone is similar, as both are archtops with high tension on the skin.
@brunobruzzese234 Жыл бұрын
Thanks Centerice! I love that banjo, just got it last summer, and never had an arch top before. I took some of the licks loosely from Raymond Fairchild. I think the rest are my own.

@@brunobruzzese234 Excellent melodious playing! "Musical maturity" dictates the choice of simpler, but more beautiful notes, over more difficult, albeit technically impressive, notes. Youngsters often tend to play as fast as possible, the same way they prefer their hearts to beat and their adrenaline to flow, but without regard generally, to musical taste. Pure speed impresses young musicians. Ah, the perspective of things appreciated through the veil of brightly burning youth... Eventually though, they get older and more mature. That maturity bleeds over into their music and they have an "artistic revelation." It comes to them, that perhaps faster does not necessarily SOUND BETTER. It hits every maturing young musician at some point, that the song they've been cracking out at breakneck speed, actually sounds better, when played a bit more slowly, so that the notes have time to strike the tympanic membrane, journey from there to the cerebrum and finally register on the human brain, thus revealing the melody. Looks from here like you've matured musically long ago! Bravo on your unique, original style of playing. PS. Loved the chimes.
