A great old site you found there Warren.Some nice KG III coppers and a sixpence.Well done mate.At the end you would have had to go back through the water to retrieve your camera....Cheers.

Your right , I had to cross the creek a extra couple of times but all for fun of recording the experience. Plus it felt safer to not to have my phone in my pocket whilst lugging all my gear. Ferry that across more carefully 2nd trip.😀

You are very lucky to have some age at that site. Here in North Queensland I have only dug Chinese coins that have some age apart from the one very worn Cartwheel penny. I'd love to get coins like that. I enjoyed your video. Cheers Mate.

Cheers Pete, thanks for watching. I've heard in the past its tricky for coins and relics in Queensland. Not for gold though ?

Well done Warren. Some good G3s and congrats on the silver. You blokes obviously don’t have killer leeches like we do in Victoria. They hunt in packs like orcas and will take a man down in a matters of seconds. Beware the leech Good job too😁👍

Hi Andrew, it was just a bit of flash flood , so unlikely to have even be a minnow in that creek thankfully.

Hi Jim, sorry buddy. Yep it’s fickle thing and it’s hard to not take it personally when the folks say no. Further from cities you get the farmer S tend to be friendlier. Horse hobby farms are going to be a straight up no .

New subscriber. we have about the same amount of subs currently. My channel is flirting with #300. Has taken FOR.......EVER to get there. Now, about to watch your video. Great intro. Love the black/white. Where you hunting? I also have a minelab. Had an old Garrett for awhile and decided to upgrade. Was the six pence silver (5:29) ? Would loooooooooove to go hunt somewhere that old. I've yet to find anything older than an early 1900s coin. What numbers were you getting on your minelab for the 1/2 pennies?
@wildcolonialboydetecting83352 жыл бұрын
It was a large farm that had an old mining hamlet 1848-52 on it. Yes that was a silver sixpence. I did find a American Trime 3 cent 1851 a few months ago. Brought over by an American gold miner 1850-1880s period and they made up 20 percent of the multicultured mining community back then. Cheers Warren
