I had technically replaced my old 93 dodge Dakota . Then along came a ridiculous cold snap right after a shit ton of snow. My 06 f250 -no go. The wife’s 03 Toyota -no go. So I dig out the Dakota (sitting almost 2 years) just enough to get my arm in the door to roll down the window. Reach in the window turn the key and on the 4th crank that tired old 318 (over 400,000kms ON THE ORIGINAL CHAIN) fired right up. So it was worth digging it out. Got it out (2 low tires + 1 flat), used it to get the others running. 😃 (kept the Dakota till the odometer rolled. 4X4 still worked but the inside of the doors had rotted. Couldn’t use the windows, door handles or locks, had to put a gat latch on the drivers) But makes me miss my old 80 power wagon. Fulltime 4X4 with that ridiculously low geared 4 speed, had 8” pipe 3/8 thick custom bumpers I made. But jump in the snow and have a blast. Could drive thru/over a tree with a 10-12” trunk lol.
