Nice job. I have found memories of OSV from early 1970's school field trips. Thank you for rekindling them.

I love love love 💕 OSV! I learn something new every time I go, and I think it’s a great place for anyone in the area to visit, especially if you have kids because it has lots of space for them to run around, live animals, and tons of great stuff for them to explore

My family, and I, have been to Sturbridge Village when we lived in RI. It has been many years since then, but I still remember what a happy time that was. I am so glad that it is still going strong. God bless all those folks who are still dressing the part, of that time period.

This is one of the best video tours of Old Sturbridge that I've seen. I haven't had a chance to visit yet (I live on the other side of the country) but I'll definitely make a point to go by if I ever find myself in Massachusetts.

Benjamin Grist I truly appreciate the kind words. OSV is most certainly a destination that should be experienced. Make sure you check out my other OSV videos. Thanks again!

This was fun to watch! I remember in elementary school we went on a field trip to i believe mystic seaport and we made molasses cookies and i still remember the smell of mixing the batter and the smell of the old wood from the little house.

This one was a lot of fun. As someone with a history degree, I feel like I need to go here. It would be a good thing to add to a potential Massachusetts trip to visit Yankee Flagship and Kringle.

Exceptional work! What a fabulous historic place to visit. Makes me think about Williamsburg. Great storytelling along the way. Hoping for more of these adventures in 2018.

This was great! I've been there when I was a kid and brought my girls like 5 years ago. It doesn't seem to ever change! Although, this is the first time I've seen what it would look like in fall. Lots of beautiful scenery and photo ops.. One of my girls even posed sitting on the privy for a photo 😂🤣 Thanks for sharing this :)

Glad you were able to go back in the daytime! Old Sturbridge Village looks like a fun place to spend a day! This video was beautifully shot. I must admit that I laughed when you were driving down the road hanging out the car window after you had just remarked on how cold it was outside, lol.

What a great trip....I came down with a cold so since I am not feeling well I decided to catch up on some videos I missed....I love every place you have been taking us...I appreciate it because I don't think I will ever experience these things personally...Oh that molasses cookie...I used to make those...I cut out baking because I didn't want to keep eating so much sugar.....but now I have the urge especially since it is getting cold out..What a comforting scent and taste.

You did it again Shane ! This trip to Old Sturbridge Village was a treat, the second time around ! I'm so happy that you made this trip during the daytime. It was a completely different experience, but equally fun and interesting. Thank you for taking the time to make this trip and episode. I loved it ! Also, I need to learn how to make those Frogger cookies, you made them sound so tempting. P.S., your thumbnail is super cute ! 🤓🔔

Oh my goodness the Nostalgia- I almost teared up hearing the voice of the Blacksmith because I believe it’s the same man who was featured on Reading Rainbow: Ox Cart Man. That was my favorite program episode as a child and I watched it over and over. I now own the book, the episode (Online), and hope to still visit Sturbridge someday. Thanks for filming this- made my whole day.

Glad you finally wrangled up a Joe Frogger cookie, and I must say it looked delicious and must have smelled delicious. Superb photography and narration to help us experience the sights and smells of this interesting, historic village. I really hope you keep doing these sorts of videos because the are entertaining and make me want to pay more attention to even more ordinary sights and smells around me. Hope you had wonderful Thanksgiving!

Honestly if you just wore a nametag that said "photographer" all the time, people would let you film anywhere. The biography of Mark Hamill! 😆 I did a book report on Johnny Tremain in 8th grade and that book is hilarious, it's pretty much Revolutionary War young adult fiction about an obnoxious teenage boy who has a crush on his cousin and also probably on his ✨super dreamy best friend Rab✨ (he watches him sleep for crying out loud!!!) and then there's a guest appearance by Paul Revere. I will admit it's a fun read though.
