I was transferred to Katni, which was considered as kala pano promotion from Delhi on 1071. I was then 24-years of age and was bachelor free from parental control. Teenage, promotion freedom from parental controls what more one can expect with wonderful friends of similar age. For us music was food where good messing facilities was not within our reach. We never thought we will ever hear these songs in our lifetime but thanks to smartphones and internet connectivity which has made it possible. We are grateful for the videos of unbelievable songs of one time before closing years of our age. Many-many thanks 🙏

I don't know Hindi. I am a Tamil speaking south indian. But love Hindi songs and listening to them for more than 60 years. More than 90 percent of the songs sung by Rafi, Lata, mukesh, hemant, kishore, talat, asha, mubarak begam, suman, shamsad, saigal are not just familiar to me but running in my soul.. Especially this collection is exotic and rekindles so many wonderful memories. My elder brother who is no more now creates interest in me to listen to the melodious Hindi songs of yester years.
