The great thing about old-time radio is you don't have to be rich to own gems. And Orson Welles is the brightest of them all.

I agree with u. He was such a talented actor, director, and producer. His voice was unforgettable. So easy to keep your attention. 👍👍👍👍👍

I wish today we could this type of entertainment on our channels. You tube has done an excellent job of keeping these programs for us to enjoy, nothing but propaganda in the new programs.👍👍👍👍

@@paulcarmichael596 He and William Conrad and Dick Powell and . . .well, you can probably continue where I left off. The good voices is why we keep coming back to shows we know and love. May you all keep listening, until we are allowed to hear them 'live' in Heaven. God bless you.

Absolutely great. Thank you. I started listening to Classic Radio on SiriusXM. I couldn't get enough, so started downloading various apps to my phone. But finding you guys has been the best thing yet. I'm a over the road truck driver and these classic radio shows help the miles to melt by. And then I realize I'm listening 24/7, and listening when I'm going to bed, when I'm driving and then at home also. Great job keep up the great work....

Welles could do everything better than everyone else, an as a kid I grew up across the street from the house he was born in, in Kenosha Wisconsin.

I've never heard of this particular show, The Black Museum. I enjoyed this show, it had a variety of interesting cases and weapons at Scotland Yard. Take care 📻

If only Mr Welles had thought to add some exciting music to the show
@deannasisson25002 жыл бұрын
That discordant note? Gets on your nerves, doesn't it? Me, too. I've been enjoying it for better than 40 years. I don't think there has been an Orson Welles episode on this show that I haven't heard many times over, just a good many years between some, so I forget how they caught the killer. Better than anything on TV.

You're all going to hate me, but, the bloody music is unbearable. Makes me jump and completely lose the plot
@deannasisson25002 жыл бұрын
Maybe there will be a way for them to filter it out and exchange it for some mellower Big Band stuff or some Jazz song of the month and year each episode came out. You aren't the only one who has a problem with the music. But I haven't heard that they've come up with something like that yet. Just think of your grandparents and great grands listening to this straight. My brother and I both loved it! God bless you, kiddo.
