I've got those risers and used the zip tie to secure to the seat. I remove me seat every time so got to have them. Great product!

Thanks Wayne. I remember you asking about the zip tie install. It’s a common question and I have needed to make this video for a long time!

Love my seat risers! I have had them since the first gen ones that had the prongs to slide in. Upgraded to the newer 1 1/2" with 3m tape awhile ago but I really am thinking about the 2" being 6'1" i feel i am still reclining a bit in the seat.

It’s amazing how much of a difference the angle of the seat makes after six hours on the water!

@Nick just got a Garmin striker 5cv Chirp what mounting accesories would you recommend for it for the Bigwater ? I was looking at the railblaza transducer arm connect to have it in the water but worry about shallow water or hitting some unexposed rock or reef ?
@NavarreKayakFishing2 жыл бұрын
We sell a ton of these for the fish finder/ transducer - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zn-xppeIqdSHh5Y it pulls the transducer high enough that hitting it isn’t a concern.

My friend if you had to choose between the sportsman 120 pdl or salty to fish in calm coastal water wish one will it be? I'm thinking getting one them to fish here in the calm coastal waters of new jersey. Ty. And keep up the good work !
@NavarreKayakFishing2 жыл бұрын
If you plan to make long pedals I would take the Salty. If you won’t be making long pedals and speed isn’t a priority I would take the 120 PDL. I prefer the internal storage and layout of the 120 PDL.

Completely off subject but I'm gonna ask anyway....how's the beach crowd and boat traffic when the Blues fly the Pensacola air show??
@NavarreKayakFishing2 жыл бұрын
I do my best to avoid the beach anytime there’s an event these days!

What's the effect of the rear vs the front riser? And if you use both? And why is that only an option on the 1" version?
@NavarreKayakFishing2 жыл бұрын
The rear risers help level out the seat. The seat naturally sits at a reclined angle. The front is talked about in this video (raises the seat but needs to be used with the rear risers to offset the recline) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/apybhp9tlNOasLc

Was there an issue with the sticky tape failing?
@NavarreKayakFishing2 жыл бұрын
It was extremely rare and typically only happen if someone removed the seat often.

@@NavarreKayakFishing I plan on hauling my pdl 120 on the back of my f150 with the seat on all the time with the chair straps pulled all the way tight and the rear seat straps attached also. Maybe an extra bungee from front to back for extra wind support. Do u think it will be ok if it’s strapped in nice and tight ?
@NavarreKayakFishing2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think the extra bungee is needed. I’ve hauled them all over the place in the back of a truck and in a trailer with zero issue.

@Nick dumbest question ever but how in the heck do you adjust the seat on the bigwater pdl lol ?? Can not for the life of me figure out how to get the seat to stay in position
@NavarreKayakFishing2 жыл бұрын
Which part? The seat slides on the tracks using the two adjustments knobs, the angle of the seat back is adjusted by two straps, and the rear/bottom of the seat is secured to the kayak by two straps.
@gamingandfishingchannel50352 жыл бұрын
@@NavarreKayakFishing Thank you buddy I was referring to the straps that keep the seat back rest from falling back. I got it now I had to sit in it to realize that you can pull the straps down on each side and it makes the seat stay upright lol.
