Trypophobia is a type of fear/phobia to do with holes. In the lyrics, it talks about mending what had been broken. Let’s assume it’s about mending a broken relationship between a friend or even a lover. Picture the relationship as a piece of fabric. There are many little holes in the fabric, making it broken and unattractive. They are talking about mending those holes to make their relationship ‘whole’ again. (Did you get the pun there?) Some people were asking in the comments what trypophobia has to do with the meme/song. So that’s my theory on how the two are linked.
