My late father was a Carpenter Joiner. I have many fond memories of watching him work in his workshop. It brings back many memories of watching you work, How I wish my father was still around making wonderful things. It's great that you restore all this old bygone furniture. The only thing I miss about retiring from the construction business is that I no longer get to bring old houses and buildings to there former glory. For many years I restored 200 year old houses. I would bring them up to modern day standards and codes as well as add modern day conveniences while rebuilding the old world charm using old world craftmanship. While using power tools and modern technology to take care of most of the work I always loved replacing a window or a door that I made by hand to match the originals. I love watching you work. I find it amazing that you are so passionate and meticulous about a small (to me) piece of furniture that is 100 times as much work as building a door. Keep the videos coming! My eyes are experiencing what my hands no longer do.

That umbrella stand was in rough shape, but I knew you had the power to beautify this. Well after you were finished, it turned out even more beautiful than I imagined!
