I agree! I like the old one better. Which i have in a two tone gray. It's sleeker. But i still like the new one too. But the thicker leather starts moving into "puffy tabby" territory. And since i never did get the puffy Tabby, i think I am going to have to consider the new Tabby. The way to solve the problem of space of the old Tabby 26, is to make old Tabby in 31cm. Edit: I also think the older version looks a little more formal or dressier than the new one.

Thanks for the thorough review. One thing I noticed was that the “C” piece on the front is slightly lower than the older version. Maybe just a visual thing but for some reason, I prefer the placement on the older version. I do not own any Tabby 26s but have the Soft Tabby which I really love. Your outfit was sickening! ❤

On your pillow tabby’s do you feel the C buckle with the leather is more delicate. I’m concerned the tabby I ordered has the C buckle covered in leather. And I found out on the tabby 26 with the leather C you can’t change the buckles.

I have the old tabby version, I haven’t used it in awhile because I noticed the crossbody strap detaches on its own at times no matter which way I face the clasps. Either way I still appreciate the tabby’s new or old ❤

Mine strap detaches on my tabby top handle 20. Love the bag and hate that it detaches on it’s own.

Just put the strap buckle the other way round (facing up) and it wont open. That prevents damage to the side too. There are many videos available on it look it up and you’re sorted

I have the older one that is brown and black color block with some studs it's gorgeous but it literally fits nothing and that's always been my problem and I wouldn't buy one of the new ones either cause it doesn't fit hardly anything!!!

Gucci goes on sale at Neiman Marcus every once in a while. Coach is luxury and more well made than a lot of more expensive brands. More expensive doesn’t mean better quality.
