Y’all need to remeber that a 40v40 is not an accurate comparison. You would get about 30 lucky drops per season in the old system while the new system give 178 lucky drops per season. So far, not even in the next season, I’ve gotten 2 champions (50k ewc and book of common) while in the old system I didn’t get a single legendary.

I had my opinion where I thought the new ones were meh, but I think the fact that you can get a book of common from a 5 star drop is a huge downside. The old ones were ok, just the commons didn't give enough. Overall, I think the new ones are better.

I feel new one is better in terms of gold, EWC conversion of max level cards and books, but wild cards seems to be missing a lot, it always gives random cards instead.. i guess that's SC's way of removing a bit of advantage which honestly seems like a fair bit to cut since if you play everyday you get cards from chests anyway, so ye Gold rewards makes sense, so not bad for me personally
