Howdy ya’ll. Welcome back to the channel.
It’s been quite a while since we have had a video in the Old World Series; where we focus on the oldest photographs of the most important cities.
Today we will dive deep into the history of Genoa, Italy by looking at over 130 unique images, dated to before the year 1900. This will include a handful of Photochrome Images, or pre-1900 images that have been colorized, which will be at the end of the video. Genoa has a vast current narrative history, one that is ripe for us to look into.
We also have really epic architecture, which according to the narrative, is an amalgamation of centuries of unique builds. But is everything in the narrative as it seems? You can feel free to mute my narrative, play your own music, and enjoy the collection of images, or we can dive into the currently accepted narrative together, with a few questions along the way.
We hit 40,000 subscribers. I’m enamored. Thank you all so much for being here! Let me know what stands out to you the most about this narrative in the comments down below.

Outstanding video. I took a break from Australia and visited Genova in 2015. I distinctly remember standing in front of the cathedral seen at 22:39. Many of the buildings including the cathedral are built with striations patterns of alternating colour stones such as black and white. This is a scheme that many other buildings in the world show, even in Egypt. So anyway, I watched that cathedral for a while then walked through some of those canyon-like streets flanked by massive buildings on both sides. The one thought that kept swirling in my head was this: there is not a chance that civilisations of people outlined in accepted history built those buildings. I say this as an Italian and as someone who has been involved in construction for the past 35, on the tools and in professional roles, formally educated in construction with an honours university degree. Not a chance. What makes my piss boil is the number of buildings that have been destroyed, either by wars or "remodelling". They weren't theirs to destroy.

P, I lived in Liguria. The Duomo is astonishing in its use of different stones(colors) for facade blocks and columns. It blows Firenze's Duomo away. The canyon of buildings is very real.

I struggle with that as well, especially here in US when we have been programmed to believe everything is new. My nor cal towns original courthouse pictured @1890 has lgiant sized roman columns. I believe they are still there just covered. Remodle @ 1900 just a diffrent facade. Recently they took poll to see if they should tear down. Community(nevada city california) overwhelming voted to keep & restore. Thank goodness. Check out Auburn California Court House, crazy looks like a State Capital. As a child I thought it was Ca. capital.😄

That is not entirely accurate. The library of Congress has a lot of construction photos of government buildings showing the scaffolding over the years they were erected. Just because they are not that readily available on the internet does not mean they don't exist.

However a lot of those look like remodle. L.O.C. also has photo graphic evidence that was collected by James? Carnegie @ 1930's documenting all various structures across US. many pictures doctored to remove what they did not want to show. All of the grandest buildings came to be occupied by all the major players/ robbers in industrial revo?ution. America was bought and sold off to the elite corrupt bidders. Now they donate buildings back to states.

Again another stunning presentation, packed full with information, had to keep stopping and starting to see all the information contained in the photos you have found, brilliant. Genoa is a huge star formation, part of the walls of which can be seen at 6:33, 14:35 and 14:44, but one thing that struck me looking at these photos, other than the usual mud flooded windows at street level, and an idea which has been formulating in my mind for some time now, is that what we're looking at is Roman, but I don't just mean Romanesque, Greco-Roman style, or left over from the Romans from 2000 years ago, but actually ROMAN, up to date Roman, at least until the 1500s. But like 1000s of other star formations, most of the walls appear to have been removed, because there were literally 1000s of star formations across this world, far more than can be seen today with many only be found on old maps. The small square, Piazza Acquaverde, seen in the photos at 8:35 and again at 9:32 is still visible today, but sadly the arch on the left hand side of the screen has been removed as have so many other arches, and the other has been altered, no longer an arch, but now a squared off construction, but at least it is still there. But why go to so much trouble to open up the side arches into bigger ones, why square off and hide the original centre arch and why put in two columns either side, making it appear as if it were always built that way, why go to all that trouble, what were they attempting to hide by doing this? Was it to hide that the arches are aligned with the sun, either at the solstices or the equinoxes, sometimes both, giving the citizens an accurate solar clock, did they not want us knowing this, for in many cities they removed or moved the arches, so we could no longer align them with the sun, why? Has the sun changed, have we changed, did we have another sun, perhaps (I know sounds crazy, but hey, so does mud flood and antiquitech to muggles!)? The Piazza de Ferrari seen at 11:40 now has a fountain in front of the building seen on the left hand side, but why all the rubble, why does it look like something was destroyed and why the huge mound of what appears to be mud on the right hand side of the photo, are they digging it out still, for I know they were digging Rome out right up until the 1900s, so perhaps they were still working on the last parts of digging out Genoa at this time as well?!? Found the photo at 15:02 REALLY interesting, for there is a huge mound of mud where there are a number of carts, appearing for all the world to look like they are digging this portion of the city out. More piles of mud can be seen at 26:11, in front of what can only be described as a Roman construction, but then again, I am biased! I've been researching star formations for some time now and I keep coming back to the same point, Roman, but these photos reminded me of model Roman towns I've seen displayed at museums and Roman villas, although they are usually only a couple of stories high, we know the Romans built, what we could call, skyscrapers, today, or buildings that had multiple levels, so why not all the buildings?!? There's also the small matter of the red bricks, for it would appear that nearly all our old world was constructed of red bricks, the same style the Romans used (by sheer coincidence, of course!) with all old painted buildings usually constructed from red brick and many buildings we are led to believe that are built from granite, sandstone or limestone are actually only CLAD in tiles of these particular stones, giving the appearance of buildings constructed from other materials, when in fact, beneath the tiles, beneath the cladding there lies a red brick skeleton. Only recently, watching another wonderful content creator, Jaxdreaming, like yourself, Jarid, it was shown that even Salisbury Cathedral is yet another one of these, apparently, stone constructions, yet underneath lies the usual red brick skeleton, always the red brick skeletons.

lightening rods are just missing a big battery to store the electricity, btw... from the Jon Levi videos... why do old houses have a big basement AND a root cellar? I grew up in a possibly pre-reset house and it had a big root cellar under where it seemed the carriage/buggy was parked... but it had a bigger basement that was even lower underground... so were root cellars actually where the battery/batteries (that have been removed and hidden) were kept? All that would have been needed for a battery was a big vat of acid and some correct metals, then hooked to a capacitor or lightening rod...

I noticed throughout all the old photos piles of dirt everywhere & everything dirty, even inside the buildings. Also they used shrubbery/bushes/trees/flowers etc. to cover/disguise the piles of 'dirty material' on ground & all over buildings. Can you imagine the labor/time it would take to dig out & then begin cleaning the buildings inside & out? And i believe the plagues & the wars were preplanned/fabricated excuses to coverup the inundations of 'material' & subsequent cleanups & possible takeovers by new entities...just a thought. Thanks for sharing these Jerrid. Great collection. 🙏💕

I found a map from 1600 of CUMBERLAND and the ancient City of CARLILE. It shows star fort roman coin w/ Lucius Septimius Severus born Africa Roman provience Leptius Magna. Says he had to leave there to this area as Roman Emperor 193-211 I believe CE. Map shows 3 Earles of Carlile and describes a Pic. wall to keep out the giant Pics. Named such for their tatooed bodies both men & women giants who fought in battles naked. There are numerous castle like structures on map, unicorn, griffin. Says this was also part of SCOTLAND part of NORTHUM. Also shows WESTMORLAND on east side of map says IRISH on west coast of map .Lots of writing and images. One says "VOLANT I VIVAS" translates to flying and alive? Small map of CARLILE in bottom rt. corner depicts what we might call star fort or fortress structure. I found map framed at thrift store, it does seem old. Looks like framing was in 1960's.

I have moderate knowledge concerning construction. One reoccurring element throughout this presentation is what looks to be 10-12" pipes or gutters laid flat on the roofs in a vertical orientation, terminating at the peak of the roofs and channeling down the side of the building connecting to I'm not sure what. Now these appear to layout similar to that of electrical conduits as opposed to a water collection system similar to modern gutters. Any ideas?

In Genoan dialect Genova is called Zena. The zenae are an ET race and Genova is like many Old World cities ET colonies or rather human cities with ET proxy “inspirators”, like always has been on this planet, if you know.

From around 12 min I do see the similarities to a grand people, shuffled around Europe and eventually landing in America with these city names given to reverence to the cities of old during the boom of world's fair expos. Small town America given the names of these great cities. The architecture copied for the fairs, then when a time-line says 920 or so with destruction I get suspicious we have been deceived somehow and the immigrants knew that but were powerless as to be labeled a scourge from these areas of Europe to be slaves post 1865.

25:13 pause. St. George. This statue a nd others like it, with the addition of a painting depicting the Greek sun god helios riding from the heavens on a chariot of whites horses holding an instrument ( of war ). These got me questioning the American story of George Washington ( St. George? ) Who idolized himself as a god under the dome in DC surrounded by the 12 zodiac signs/Gods or 12 apostles. Abraham being who was good friends with God and the name Abraham meaning exalted father. Or father of the alter? So we have in DC Abraham Lincoln staring from across the reflection pool, at George Washington who sits inside the monument ( obelisk ). Lining up with the Capitol ( Optical ) building. Which I believe is ( also a play on words for the head ) a place of accention aka enlightenment or an arc catapulting one into the spirit world. Aka Jacobs ladder. It's a sick version of the new temple of Israel ( The minds 👁‍🗨 a portal to tge kingdom of God ( the Whitehouse ) Imagine if this place situated on two intersecting ley lines was able to create sound wave emf it would then be received then ransmitted from the obelisk to Lincoln and out to sea. Then comunicating with other like strutures around the world as hertz frequency. This could efect the earth's magnetic field and in a worste case scenerio cause disassociation to matter. Sound moves faster underwater than in the air. Christopher Columbus , Christo the anointed one. Christ opher ( offer ) Washington DC. Columbus as the promise land. The land that was promised to abraham. I believe that the story in the Bible is talking about the Americas as the promise. There's so much more intermingled to the story. Reference biblical history to American history and it becomes a spooky allegorical piece of work. Literal things are metaphorical and metaphorical things are literal. Inverted truth waiting to be unveiled.

Odd that 'History' didn't choose Genoa as the capital of the Roman Empire as, to this very day, Rome has not and never had a port. That the Romans conquered the known world, most of whom had large navies and safe ports to house them, all without a navy and a fear of the sea! - we are told.

Seems like a very advanced self sufficient world trader from very early on. Removing their wealth, knowledge, and power was important to the invaders. I think maybe they were of the nature from an earlier time when trade and peaceful relations to advance society was at their core. Not nation state building and waring. in the end they formed an alliance becoming Italy for security. Where is all this knowledge rat holed? The Vatican's 52 miles of books?
