If you are worried about balance in your aging body, reclaim your independence with these short exercises to improve your postural position. A great side benefit is reduced lower back pain and improved cognitive function. When the spine is in line, everything is fine. My Mom shows us the McKenzie press-up to reset the lower spine. We also demonstrate the thoracic reset for those with excess kyphosis or a dowager's hump. You can use the half roller as we do, or a rolled-up towel can do the trick in a pinch.
