Oldest House in Manhattan

The Morris-Jumel Mansion is the oldest house in Manhattan. Being in its vicinity is a step back into colonial times. It is a place of beauty that is of great importance in the history of American culture and architecture.

Humm. The oldest House in my town dates back to the 1840's. With a couple of dozen dating to just before or during the Civil War.

When I first saw this video I thought you were wrong but I just checked and the house I was thinking of is in Brooklyn. Still I would do some more checking before accepting this as ther oldest. There must be something older4 than that. The Wyckoff house (the house I as thinking of) was 1652. Only one section of the house as it is today is the original house but it still stands and it is a hell of a lot older than this house in this video. There must be something like that in Manhattan somewhere.
