Oldfield Park 30.12.08

Not the main area of the day, but a couple of hours spent here for good measure.
Some screaming and toneing HSTs, Including a fantastic set of 43172+43143, so excuse the wobble during that clip, got a bit excited! :)
159011 works the Waterloo service. 220031 works 5C41, the XC Route learner.
A few 158s flying through on Cardiff Portsmouth services.
A couple of 150s departing including a cracking 2tone from a female driver!
But there were 2 highlights, one was a fantastic departure from 158766 to Westbury, with HSTsteven on board. Departing with an 8tone horn! Brilliant!
The other was more of a rarety than anything else, 43093+43092 DEPART Oldfield Park for Bristol! A pretty good departure it was too, but listen to that back powercar, it's screaming, unhealthily and was clagging a fair bit!

Because there is major Engineering work in summer south of Bristol, so they will be a regualr occurance on this route! :-) Can't wait!

There was a 40 minute delay on the local unit, and at peak time passengers needed to get to Bristol on this commuter station, so it was in FGWs interest to get it to stop.
