"Today's story was written by Cam Collins, holy god did she terrify the crap out of ALL of us." I love that they're having as much fun as we are.

Lbr, he should have expected this. You don't make a deal with dark, Eldritch powers, then betray them without horrifying consequences

O M G. This is easily the BEST podcast I've ever heard. The narration, the world building, all of the cosmic and folk horrors, the background music, the production, and his voice-THAT voice. I'm floored by it. Phenomenal.

yup, I second that. Lovecraftian elements and something a young Steven King might have written. And Appalachia. I love it.

Can anyone tell what the cackling pastor said? I checked the captions but they were just auto-fill so weren't very helpful

@@OldGodsofAppalachia That’s an excellent bit of accessibility. My mother’s deaf, and I’ve been thinking of recommending the show.

One of my favorite stories. I wonder what happened to Cletus. I wonder will he resurface?

It says at the end that Ruby's voice was the last he ever heard, so I'm pretty sure he's dead.
